It was pretty hard to sleep wh... View MoreAs Ponyville sleeps, a lone figure silently glides along it's streets on a late night skate. Following two hours of failing to fall asleep, Nar needed to clear his mind. It was pretty hard to sleep when he kept seeing Amy's face every time he closed his eyes. The warm, humid night air brushing past his face does little to ease Nar's mind. If anything, it just makes him sweat more. He'd hoped that a little skate through the town would help him relax, and get him ready for bed. Instead, all it's done is give him time to think. Something he'd rather not do right now. Nar had thought he'd learned to accept, and cope with the loss of his old friends. To find peace in knowing their suffering had finally ended. To an extent, that was true. He was a peace, knowing most of his friends weren't suffering anymore. Yet, Amy was the one exception. Every so often, that last vision of her, staring up at him from an empty void popped into his head. Accompanied by her last words, ringing in his ears. "I love you!" He knows that there were so many factors that lead to her death, but he can't help but think about how it could have gone differently. How, if they'd just made certain other decisions, maybe, just maybe, she'd be alive right now. Realizing he's been lost in thought for too long, Nar shakes his head. It's then that he realizes that he's staring down an alleyway. Someone else is staring back at him. It's a young stallion with a can of spray paint in one hand. He appears to be in the middle of spraying graffiti of a graphic scene involving two mares. Nar barely registers it in his stupor. The stallion makes a 'zip your mouth' motion with his hand, and quickly follows it up with a throat slicing motion. Nar does not react. He simply turns his head forward, and stuffs his hands into his shirt pockets before gliding away. Nar's thoughts begin to drift back towards Amy again, but this time, he stops himself. It doesn't matter what could have been done. What happened, happened. There's nothing that can be done to bring her back. Besides, he needs to focus on the present now. He has a loving family, a wonderful daughter, and even a girlfriend! It's okay to remember the people he's lost, but he knows he can't let their memories drag him down. He's learned his lessons from their passing. It's why he doesn't expedition into the AHS like he used to. It's also why he never brings anyone with him when he does. After making his way to Ponyville park, Nar looks for a bench to sit down on for a few minutes. It breaks his heart when he sees a homeless man sleeping on one of the benches a little ways from the park entrance. After reaching into his satchel, he places a few packaged food items, and bottles of water near the stallion for him to find when he wakes up. Then, Nar retreats back towards the entrance to sit on a bench he'd passes by earlier. He only hopes the nightly guard patrols won't think he's some sort of criminal, and will let him relax in peace for a while. #rp
