In my interpretation, Ghostbit sorts emits a small amount of Mana which gives of a warm laundry smell.
Due to his past life as a bunny, his current diet, his current way of living where it often involves him training in various natural elements to control his powers more, and to my memory he still lives at Fluttershy's cottage or somewhere in the everfree depending on which one is primary.
