This evening, Nar was going to return the favor. Granted, this was something he'd intended to do when Autumn first got out of the hospital after her accident. Things have just been so hectic since then that he just hasn't found the time to do this. That is, until today. With Cookie over at her aunts' house, and Nar having the day off work there's finally some time for Nar and Autumn to spend some time alone together. As such, Nar has arranged for an at home date night. He's told Autumn to expect a little home date this evening, but hasn't told her anything about what that entails. All he's told her is to not worry about getting dressed up. He doesn't have anything fancy planned. Just as the clock strikes 5 PM, Nar springs his plan into action. Poking his head into her study, Nar asks Autumn to come down to the basement studio when she's done with whatever she's doing at the moment. He only waits long enough to get a response before he closes the door, and makes his way down into the studio. Once Autumn has joined him in the basement, Nar sits her down on the couch that faces the studio proper. He takes a seat on a chair opposite of her, and pulls his bass off of it's stand nearby. It seems like he's already gone ahead and gotten it set up. He gives no preamble. As soon as Autumn has settled into her seat on the couch, Nar depresses a peddle with his foot, causing a backing track to begin playing through the studio's speakers. Just the perfect volume to accompany his singing, and bass. (https://youtu.be/XqyrzZCrEwA) Throughout the song, Nar foregoes most of his usual performing habits. Usually, he'll close his eyes fairly often, dance around, or at least move around in his seat. For this performance though, Nar does little more than bob his head, and shake back and forth slightly. His eyes remain open throughout the entire performance, locked with Autumn's. At the end of the song, Nar lets the last note fade out completely before he shifts in his seat, and moves his bass into a more relaxed position on his lap. "It's not quite as intimate as the song you sung for me was, but you know I'm not a very sappy guy." A small chuckle escapes Nar's lips. A big, cheesy smile plastered across his face. "To be fair, that was just a cover of an anime opening, but I had the band help me record a cover of it while you were in the hospital. I wanted to sing it for you when you got out, but we just haven't had the time alone to do so until now. I didn't want to ruin the moment by letting the band listen in too.
