It's a cozy early evening in Ponyville. The air is warm, but not too hot, and a nice breeze keeps everyone nice and cool. The sun getting closer and closer to setting on the horizon casts a light oran... View MoreIt's a cozy early evening in Ponyville. The air is warm, but not too hot, and a nice breeze keeps everyone nice and cool. The sun getting closer and closer to setting on the horizon casts a light orange tint over the town. With such perfect weather, it would be a waste to not spend some time outside this evening. In the backyard of Nar's house, a group of all ages sits around an unlit fire pit while a nearby radio plays a local radio station. Among the group are Nar, Cookie, Asuka, Juno, Hiari, Kisho, and Betty. Each person sits with a drink of some kind in their hand, or sitting nearby. "So, do you guys want hot dogs, or burgers?" Nar asks his guests in the middle of a conversation about dinner. Before anyone can answer, Kisho pipes up to ask "May I help?" Nar opens his mouth to speak, but pauses as the host on the radio mentions the words "Cupid Shuffle." A second later, the Cupid Shuffle starts up on the radio. Instead of answering his father, Nar's mouth lets out an "Awwww man!" Then, he makes his way over to the grass behind the circle of chairs. As if the words were some sort of sleeper agent code word, Asuka, Juno, and Hiari join him. The four line up on the grass, then begin to dance in unison as if they'd choreographed the whole thing themselves. Sat in a chair facing the four, Betty pulls her phone out of her pocket and begins to film the group. She's GOT to show this off at the next family reunion! Beside her, Kisho gives a few polite claps. Cookie wants to join in, but she figures she might get in the way. Luckily for her, about a quarter of the way through the song, Nar comes over to bring her over with him. Then, he shows her the moves, and moments later, she's dancing alongside the four young adults. Granted, her moves aren't nearly as fluid as theirs, but they don't really need to be! After getting Cookie to join in, Nar motions to his parents. "You heard Cupid, young or old!" Betty begins to object, but her husband's gentle hand on her arm silences her. Flashing him a smile, Betty puts her phone away, and goes with Kisho to join the others in their dance. For the next two minutes, she feels like she's back in high school! Once the song is over, the group returns to their seats to resume their conversation. It doesn't take long for them to finally come to a consensus on dinner. Burgers it shall be. #rp
