Staying up late ... View MoreExcited students exit Ponyville elementary school, ready for the weekend. Some hop onto busses, others into cars, and some walk home. All around, students discuss their weekend plans. Staying up late to play games, going to the park, meeting up with friends, and the like. In the car rider pickup area, Sugar Cookie Yakushi rocks back and forth on her heels as she waits for her papa to come pick her up. One of the front office ladies told her that her father was going to be late today, and offered to let her stay in the office, but she wanted to wait outside. While she waits, she overhears two of her classmates in an intense discussion about some sort of card game. Her interest gained, Cookie shuffles over to the two young boys. One appears to be showing the other some sort of card with a colorful looking monster on it. "Hey, what are you guys doing?" Cookie asks, peering over the shorter of the two boys' shoulder to get a look. The two stop to look at Cookie for a moment, then the shorter one moves over to let her get a closer look. "We're talking about this Monster Melee card, and if it's good or not." The conversation that follows is a bit much for Cookie to follow, but she likes how pretty the card looks, and how excited the two boys are about it. Part-way through the conversation, a voice calls out Cookie's name from nearby. She looks up, and searches for the source, but can't tell where it came from. Until the voice calls out again. It's then that Cookie notices a mare with gray fur, and long, black hair waving to her as she approaches the school. Cookie can't remember why, but she looks familiar. As the mare approaches, she reaches out a hand towards her. "Your papa asked me to come pick you up for him." At that moment, Cookie remembers her papa, and auntie Asuka's lessons on strangers. She backs away from the mare, and shakes her head. The mare takes a step forward, her face smiling brightly. "Come on Cookie. It's okay." After that, Cookie doesn't quite register what happens next. One of the school janitors comes outside, and says something to the mare. A few moments later, Cookie is ushered back into the front office, where she waits until her father comes to pick her up. When he arrives, the office lady pulls him aside for a moment. When they return, her father smiles to her, but she can see something in his eyes. He's mad. Very mad. #rp
