He's... View MoreWith tomorrow being a holiday, the usual Thursday night hockey match has been pushed forwards to tonight. Nar's been pushing his team hard to prepare them for their first home game of the season. He's also been doing some one on one practice sessions with certain boys in order to try and help them acclimate to the unique situation their team formed in. Inside the rink at the Ponyville Rec Center, Nar watches as both teams warm up before the game. The home team, Ponyville High, and the away team, Fillydelphia high. Taking a moment to look into the crowd, Nar is mildly disappointed, but not surprised. The bleachers that have been placed around the rink aren't even half full. There are more Fillydelphia fans here than Ponyville. A measly 4 students make up Ponyville's student section, but there are 3 members of the band beside them to act as a pep band. Just beyond them, Nar is met with enthusiastic waves from a group of his family, and friends. His parents, both sisters, daughter, Juno, and even Roy all sit together, eager to cheer their home team on! Other than the parents of the team, they're about the only fans on the Ponyville side. In total, the Ponyville fans barely fill one of the five bleachers set up around the rink. Hockey has never really been all that popular in Ponyville anyway. After warmup ends, the team huddles around Nar for a quick speech about teamwork, and coordination. Then, they launch into their strategies for the game. Before long, Glint Goldensnaps leads the Ponyville team's first line onto the ice, where they take up their positions. The Fillydelphia team does the same. A referee stands beside the two forwards, a whistle in one hand, puck in the other. Tension builds as the two forwards eagerly await the dropping of the puck. Stood behind the home team bench, Nar can hear Asuka yelling all sorts of encouragement to his team. He really hopes she doesn't get kicked out for how loud she's being. In an instant, the whistle is blown, and the puck hits the ice. Glint manages to earn possession for his team, then the game begins in earnest. #rp
