View MoreNow that the snow blanketing Ponyville has mostly melted, the town has begun to return to it's usual daily activities. As the workday begins for many in the town, a young mare walks down the sidewalk of Harmony street. Her hands are occupied by the drink holder full of coffees she was sent to grab for her boss. When she'd applied to be a secretary at an office job, she'd expected to take calls, schedule appointments, and write emails. Not be the office delivery gal. The young mare's thoughts begin to wander after she sees a blue door in the side of a building down the street. She's always wondered who put all those blue doors everywhere, and why they put a glowing star on them. They're almost always in really weird locations too! Like this one! It's on the side of a building with no indication it's an entrance to the building! On her way to the coffee shop, she saw one at the end of an alley! Creepy! The young mare yelps, and jumps back as the blue door flies open only 2 feet in front of her. Somehow, she manages to avoid spilling a single drop of the precious coffee under her care. Half a second later, a figure launches out from behind the door. The door slams behind him, seemingly on it's own. Annoyed, and pretty peeved to have almost had scalding coffee splashed on her, the mare shouts an angry "Jerk!" at the figure. Now that she can actually see him, she's a little surprised to see him wearing pretty light clothing for such cold temperatures. Wait... Is he rollerblading? The sidewalks are still a little icy! That has to be dangerous! Nar peers over his shoulder, and is met with an annoyed looking mare holding a drink carrier full of coffees. He lifts a hand in an apologetic wave, accompanied by a shouted "Sorry!" Then, he turns his head back forwards. Just in time to see the light pole rapidy approaching. A quick swerve into the street for just a second, and he narrowly avoids denting his skull. Escape From the City by Ted Poley blasts in Nar's ears as he skates around Ponyville. With Hearth's Warming coming up, deliveries have practically tripled in the courier app he delivers for. Considering he's one of only two "Express Deluxe" couriers in Ponyville, his app has been filled to the brim with delivery requests. Granted, it's not like Nar is required to take every delivery that pops up. He more than meets the quota to keep his "Express Deluxe" status, but making deliveries like this gives him an excuse to go skating. Something he doesn't get to do much these days. Upon arriving to the delivery address for his current delivery, Nar pulls his goggles up off of his eyes. He makes his way up the driveway to a house in the suburbs. As he approaches the front door, he opens his satchel to remove a package from within. With a ring of the doorbell, eh alerts the residents of his presence. Using Thaumaturgy, he amplifies his voice to be three times louder, then shouts "Delivery!" Now just to wait for the door to open. He has to get a signature for this delivery, so he's really hoping the time he was given on the app is accurate. Otherwise, he's gonna have to make the delivery again later. #rp
