View MoreThe playground of Ponyville Elementary school is filled with the sounds of laughter, and play from it's students. With the temperatures being on the warmer side lately, the school has been able to allow it's students out onto the playground for recess more. On the asphalt blacktop that serves as the playground's basketball court (which hasn't been used for basketball all school year), a group of four children are playing a game of four square. A simple game where a square is drawn in chalk on the blacktop, and divided into four smaller squares. The children then bounce a ball around the squares. When the ball comes into your square, you have to bounce it to another square, or you're out! Among the four playing are Sugar Cookie Yakushi, and her friends, Chrome, and Silver Foil. Usually, Silver, and Chrome spend their recess playing that monster card game Cookie doesn't understand. Today though, she's managed to convince them to play four square with her, and it's a lot of fun! During one round of four square, Chrome bounces the ball into Cookie's square. She's caught off guard, and quickly adjusts to try and lunge for the ball before it goes out of play! Then, a pair of hands shoves her from behind, causing her to almost fall over. From an adjacent square, Silver shouts "Hey!" only to shrink when he realizes who he just shouted at. "Look at stupid Cookie playing a stupid baby game." Second grade bully, Butch, snickers. The fourth child in the game takes the opportunity to chase after the rolling ball in order to get away from Butch. Cookie turns to face him, her cheeks flush, and eyes slightly watery. "Stop it Butch! You're mean!" She shouts, stopping herself from crying. Butch just laughs. He reaches out, and grabs a hold of Cookie's hair, giving it a harsh tug that causes Cookie to cry out. He continues to pull, prompting a scream from Cookie. "Stop it! Or I'll hit you!" Butch just sticks his tongue out, and continues to pull. Tears stream down Cookie's cheeks. Her friends watch in horror, too scared to call for help. It hurts, and Cookie wants Butch to stop! Remember what her papa told her! If someone is trying to hurt you, and they won't stop, sometimes, you have to make them stop! She balls up her fist the way her father taught her to. She's already warned Butch that she'd hit him, and he won't stop. So now, she's going to follow through! Following her father's demonstration as best she can, Cookie throws a punch into Butch's stomach. Instantly, the boy releases Cookie's hair. His hands shooting to cover his stomach. For a moment, the blacktop is silent. Then, Butch begins to scream bloody murder. Cookie wastes no time. She immediately starts to run back towards the school to get a teacher. #rp
