I should have figured it out sooner. You shouldn't have spent your last moments wondering where your father is. You deserved better than me. "Just lie down, and rot alongside your family. It's all you're good for now." The voice is full of disgust, and malice. Others join in. Amidst his own grief, Nar is berated by countless voices. Each voice is distinct, but they all share the same disgust, and malice. The melding of voices makes it difficult to pick out any one specific voice. They rise in volume, as Nar's sobs intensify. He tries to cover his ears to stop the voices, but he can still hear them. With what strength he can muster, Nar pushes himself away from the dresser in front of him. Desperate to not think about what's behind it. The voices scream at him for being a coward. They scream for him to look his family in their faces. To show them how much of a failure he really is. A scream escapes Nar's mouth. Unbeknownst to him, he's begun to scream in abject horror, and despair. He can't close his eyes without seeing the little pastel blue hand, but his eyes are starting to burn from how much he's been sobbing. For a brief moment, the world begins to spin, and darken. Something deep within him swells. It compels him to rise, and move forward. To leave the house. Why?! His family is here! He needs to be with them! Hiari. He never saw her body inside the house. Maybe she's still out there! Maybe! "Front Door." Nar's body turns to ice. The voices suddenly go quiet. Did he hallucinate that, or did something just enter the house through the front door? Does it know he's here? Is it an entity from the AHS, or a survivor, looking for shelter? He can't stick around to find out. No time to think. Have to act. Life depends on it. Get out alive. Find Hiari. Get out alive! Nar turns back around, and forces himself to hop up onto the bed. As carefully as he can, he slides down to the floor behind the dresser to open the window behind it. He doesn't dare to look down. As quiet as can be, Nar slips out of the window, and slides it back down behind him. Without so much as a glance backwards, Nar slinks off into the woods behind Asuka's house to try and avoid whatever it is inside Asuka's house. #rp
