Nar begin... View MoreA light jostle causes Nar's brain to enter wake up mode. Eyes flutter open, giving way to blurry vision. For some reason, the front of Nar's body feels mildly warm. The blur is blinked away. Nar begins to raise his head. In response, a familiar voice begins to speak. "Good morning, sleepyhead." Asuka! Instantly, Nar is awake. He realizes now that he's being carried on someone's back. A quick look down finds a head of long, blonde hair atop a blue jacket. Asuka's deep blue eyes stare at him from over her shoulder. Hold on. That's definitely Asuka, but... She looks older, and she's got this sort of magical air about her. "Wha-." Nar's mind hurries to catch up to speed. It sifts through countless memories, guided by faint recognition. "Feeling any better?" Asuka asks with a gentle smile. "Y-yeah..." Responds Nar. After a brief pause, he adds "You can put me down now." Asuka obliges, slowly crouching down to allow Nar to stand up off of her back. His legs feel like jelly, but he's able to stand on his own. "How long was I out?" This time, it's the Monster who responds. "Roughly 25 hours." Woah! Really?! Nar didn't even know people could sleep for that long! Was he in some sort of mini-coma or something?! His surprise must be visible on his face, because Asuka turns to place a gentle hand on his shoulder. Her smile is warm, and reassuring. Something about her presence makes Nar feel safe, and comfortable. Even in the depths of the AHS. Then, his brain finally finishes it's search. Right! This isn't his Asuka! It's that one he met at that mountain resort when-... The safety, and comfort fades. Nar's head turns to glare a hole into the back of the Monster's head. The Keeper pulls Nar into a gentle embrace, causing the wrath boiling in his chest to subside. "I'm glad you're okay. You were in bad shape when I found you two." The Keeper shoots a glare over her shoulder. The Monster has his eyes set straight ahead. "Lunae was asked by a friend of his to help you, but he can't do much in here, so he sent me. We'll make sure you make it home safe." #rp
