View MoreAfter a week of non-stop shows, busting their asses off to get a new album out, work, and practically no free time, Attack on Mango has finally been given a reprieve from the crushing stress of this week. Per usual, the three gravitate towards their favorite restaurant in Vanhoover, Shifty Sai's. As the three approach the restaurant, Juno points out a cardboard cutout of the three that had been placed in the front window. "Huh. Artuo doesn't usually put that out unless we're playing a big gig, or going on tour." He then notes two men on ladders who appear to be placing some sort of banner above the front entrance, but none of the three manage to get a good look at what it says before they enter. After the three have sat at their usual booth, and gotten their drinks, chips, and salsa, Asuka spots the restaurant's owner, Artuo approaching them. He seems far more excited to see them than usual. "My friend!" He cheers as he wraps Asuka, and Juno in a hug. "Congratulations!" Stunned by her confusion, Asuka is unable to question the congratulations. Instead, Nar asks for them. "Wait. Why? I mean, didn't you already congratulate us on releasing the album two days ago?" At this, Artuo steps back, seeming surprised. "Oh! Didn't you hear?" The band leans in close. "Attack on Mango finally re-claimed the #1 on the Vanhoover music charts!" The booth is shocked into silence. "Not only that-!" 'Artuo, please. We're in shock here.' "You reach #8 on the Equestrian music charts!" 'Holy shit, Juno looks like he's about to have a heart attack.' The silence settles in for about 5 seconds. Then, a burst of shouts. "Hell yeah! We fucking did it!" Nar screams, ecstatic. The few other patrons in the restaurant look over, confused, and annoyed at first. Then, Asuka joins in with excited screams, and whoops of her own. Juno follows shortly after, slamming his head into Nar's chest as he wraps his best friend in a tight hug. Once the other patrons catch on, they either join in, clap, or simply go back to their food. Asuka can't believe it. #8, nationwide. They'd managed 10 once before, but never had Asuka thought they'd get any higher than that. Working their asses off definitely payed off. Maybe if they worked even harder on their next album, they could make the top 5 nationally. Asuka is jolted from her stupor as Nar shakes her by her shoulders. "Asuka! We HAVE to go on tour soon! We can't let this hype die out!" Excitedly, Asuka quips back. "Yeah! What kind of band would we be if we didn't?! We're not sellouts!" Then, Juno chimes in. "It's settled then! Attack on Mango is going on tour!" #rp
