Not an expert, but yes, pre-made rigs can be good. Mine is pre-made and runs things very well, but it’s typically cheaper to order parts and assemble everything together.
Usually pre-builts skimp on things like the motherboard and PSU, and sometimes they can have funky quirks you don't have to deal with if you custom-build. But if you're not looking for overclocking then a pre-built should be alright
