It was time. Time for the Spinneret concert in Canterlot. Sprout stepped onstage. Her audience cheered. All these creatures...none of them had any idea what they were in for. The concert began as... View MoreIt was time. Time for the Spinneret concert in Canterlot. Sprout stepped onstage. Her audience cheered. All these creatures...none of them had any idea what they were in for. The concert began as normal, Sprout singing a good setlist of her songs, the crowd all excited. But very soon, it would be time for the grand finale. "...I'd like to thank you all," Sprout began, "for your support. Thank you all for gettin me to this point. Honestly, there were times I doubted I'd ever make it this far. Far enough that...that I can finally do this." Spinneret dropped her disguise. From this point on, Sprouting Bulb was dead. Audible gasps spread across the crowd. Was this real? Was Sprout replaced? "This...is me. This is Spinneret. And Spinneret...is tired of hidin." A faint "I KNEW IT!!" could be heard in the audience. "And now, I have a new song. For you all...and for the ones I can never forget. We lost a lot of good changelings in that invasion all those years ago...real good ones. And this song is dedicated to them." With that, Spinneret began her slow ballad, a gentle elegy for those who'd passed. As she sang, it was clear there was a hint of bitterness in her voice. It was a song for those whose deaths were ignored. For those whose deaths were celebrated. During an instrumental break, a list of names appeared on the screen behind Spinneret, scrolling down. Changeling names. At the end... "My beloved, from before I knew I could feel that way: Elytron" There was a pause. Then...rapturous applause. Spinneret was taken back. These creatures really enjoyed her? They...accepted her? "...thank...thank you...so much..." Spins smiled. "You all...Chrysalis always told us, if we ever revealed ourselves, we would be taken in to be executed...I've lived with that fear all my life...s-so thank you...thank you for..." It was too much for her. She burst into tears. Soon enough, she was back in her dressing room, back with you, now in her true changeling form. She wiped her face with a tissue and said, "...thank you...for supportin me, y'know? Bein there for me. I...I wouldn't be here without you." #rp
