Crone

In the end, beauty is in the eyes of beholder. The current beholder was Crone. What a beautiful butterfly. Crone would slowly make his way towards the fluttering blue glowing butterfly. Once he was out and the open near the Sea of Bones. Crone didn't quite see it but eyes would watch him amongst the white bones. They watched him mindlessly shuffle until the butterfly stopped right onto his left hand that he held out. It landed gracefully and would shine in the moonlight. Actually, it is shinier that it was a second ago. Then, suddenly, it would have gotten brighter until crystals would pop out of his arm. He would scream a visceral, living scream. Crone would breathe lightly as a group as big as twenty would surround him. He backed up into a big fella. The would jump him as he squirmed. No... Not that... Please. He couldn't reach his sword that had been kicked away. One brought out a giant double edged war axe. It's wide blades would be fit for a warrior. He would seemingly somehow get them off as he crawled away. Fast. Well, slow but fast for him. The hunter would walk aside him as he would bring the axe on his giant blue arm which would cut it slightly. Crone has pretty blue tears coming down his face. Crone is unique in that when he is like this, he can cry and feel many things. Certainly unique for his type. Either way, they are chipping at the arm and many people held him down. He would wail and scream. In the end, red eyes would start to surround them as they commit this torture. An entire generation of monsters. Months of hard work. Years of expertise. Down the drain. They would have finally cut the giant arm off.  The hunters would have backed up as Crone would be screaming at crying. He touched up on the now severed arm as souls came up and fell straight down into lifeless orbs.  Crone picked up the dead soul orbs with his one arm as he would set them down. He would smash his face onto the bow colorless arm. He would have sat up to see his two eyes fall out. The rest of them watched him and slowly backed up. His skin would grow fur rapidly. He looked at his skinny arm as it slowly turned white.  His arm would slowly grow back and as he would grow things back, he would slowly have gotten up.  His crown would have went dull and would slowly lose its rust. It revealed a golden crown with a feint blue jewel in the front.A stallion would rush in to interrupt but an arrow would lodge into his neck. He would fall over and would choke on his own blood. War drums would be played in the grass. They would Death whistles at them to simulate deathly screams. Crone arm would have grown back as he would grab his trusty sword. The sword was nearly pristine. As if Crone had an entirely new look of liveliness to him.  He looked back at the hunters and said out loud. "You have our attention, valiant hunters." He voice spoke to them as if his mere voice was so commanding.  "I'm sorry for what I must. You hurt my people. You trample our homes and our food. The world would be better without villians. Wouldn't you agree, hunters. Well then... Let the hunt begin." Cheering screams could be heard from everywhere as the hunters seemed queazy and ran.  The big guy would fumble to pick up his axe and fell. "Well, well, well.  Look who decided to stay. " They would start running to ponyville as monsters would stab and destroy them from the hidden tall field of grass n bones. "I don't like to give a lashing but you gave me no options. So here's what I'll do. I'm a kind king so I'll spare you. Now... Eat the rest of them... In front of this hardened warrior. Then do a clean fracture on his arms. He would scream as hob goblins would drag him by his legs towards his dying friends. Crone would sigh and shake his head.  When all said and done, there were little injuries. Yet, there were three deaths. He would have went down to grasp the dull souls. "I'm so sorry." Rain, the drider had stood down to his level by tucking her legs and touching his back. "It's okay. They can sleep now I have about a week before I return to normal." He looked at his right arm and grit his teeth. "Damn it." He gave her the dull souls. Bury them. Please." He looked back with no eyes yet his expression was always so sad. Such destruction. It was pointless.  It was always so, so pointless.
