It's given Nar a lot to think about, but he's having trouble doing so at home at the moment. There's a few factors contributing to this, but the main reason is also one of the reasons he needs to think. So, Nar has decided to do the one thing he used to do when he needed to clear his head to think. After letting Autumn, and Cookie know he'll be out for a little while, Nar straps on his rollerblades for an afternoon skate to clear his mind. Popping his earbuds in, Nar starts up his skating playlist, and glides off to begin his skate. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_HJrdqXdbc) As soon as Nar makes it out of his neighborhood, he kicks the motors in his skates on for rapid acceleration. The rush of air against his face sends dopamine rushing throughout his body. His lips curl upwards involuntarily, unable to contain the excitement of getting to skate again after so long. Thankfully, it's a Sunday afternoon, and most of the residents of Ponyville are either at home, or at church. Meaning the sidewalks are largely empty, leaving Nar with plenty of room. Even so, he still has to avoid the occasional pedestrian. A young mare flinches as Nar hops up onto the railing beside her just seconds before he would have impacted her. After taking a moment to process, she turns to shout at the hooligan who almost crashed into her! Then she sees the yellow hawiian shirt, and straw hat. Ah. It's just Nar. He gives her an apologetic wave over his shoulder without looking back, and that's enough for her anger to subside. A pair of police officers stand at their post in a plaza as they wait for the nearby church to let out. The two make idle conversation while they survey the plaza. It's completely empty for the moment, but in about an hour or so, it'll be filled with the afternoon church crowd on their way to lunch. One of the officers stops mid-sentence. His ears pick up a distant, but distinct sound. It sounds familiar, but he can't quite place what it is. A blur of blue, and yellow passes into the plaza. It swerves around the statue in the middle of the plaza, before continuing to the other side of the plaza to exit. The officer's partner looks at him with confusion, only to receive a shake of the head in response. "It's just Nar. Technically, we could give him a citation, but it's really not worth the paperwork. As long as he doesn't damage any property, or hurt anyone, it's better to just leave him be." Nar's body moves on it's own, with little conscious input from his brain. It surveys the area ahead, and instinctively instructs his body to avoid obstacles, make turns, and hit sick ass jumps. After a near full lap of downtown Ponyville, Nar turns back around to head home. Though he does want to hit one last jump before he reaches home. An elderly couple sits within a small park enjoying the cool afternoon breeze. The mare tosses bird seed to a group of birds gathered before the couple, while the stallion simply enjoys the breeze. A shadow passing overhead causes the two to look upwards. They catch a glimpse of yellow, and blue passing overhead. The figure lets out an excited whoop just before it lands on the other side of the park, and disappears down the street beyond. Cognitive function returns as Nar pulls back into his neighborhood. Only then does he register just how much fan he was having during his skate! Man! If only he could skate like this more often! Wait. He was supposed to do something while he was skating. What was it again? Aw CRAP! He completely forgot to do any thinking while he was out skating! #rp
