Another meeting with the school, another meeting that probably went nowhere. After Cookie punched her bully in the stomach in self defense during recess this afternoon, both Nar, and the bully's parents were called in to a meeting by the school. It was a pretty tense meeting. The bully's mother was VERY vocal about her thoughts on the matter. Even going so far as to call Nar a "Violent psychopath who wants his child to hurt other children!" She didn't seem to be receptive to Nar's idea that she should teach her son not to physically harass other children. This time, the father actually got involved in the meeting, and actually tried to defend his son. Sure enough, the school took the bully's side. When they asked Nar why he'd teach his daughter to punch someone like that, they were not thrilled with his response. "My daughter, and I have done everything we could to inform the school so they could take action. When the school failed to follow up after their initial action did nothing to stop the physical abuse, I saw fit to teach my daughter how to defend herself as to prevent any further harm to her." The school's ruling of a 2 day out of school suspension, and one day of in school suspension did not go down well with Cookie. She doesn't understand why the school is punishing her, and not her bully. Nar assures her she didn't do anything wrong, but it's pretty hard to convince her of that when she's been suspended. Either way, Nar has no intention of making her feel like she did anything wrong. She followed all the steps to try and resolve the issue non-violently. When that didn't work, she had to stop the abuse somehow. His family is pretty much entirely on his side. His mother has told him he should threaten a lawsuit, but the last thing Nar wants to do is get into a prolonged legal battle over this. If Cookie is still getting bullied after her suspension, he'll consider it. The school administrators better grow a damn brain before then, or Nar's going to unleash the full might of his rockstar fortune, and mother's connections on the school. #rp
