Phew! What a day! After a long day of band stuff, Nar is finally emerging from his basement recording studio for some well deserved relaxation. It wouldn't have been that bad if Spot hadn't called him... View MorePhew! What a day! After a long day of band stuff, Nar is finally emerging from his basement recording studio for some well deserved relaxation. It wouldn't have been that bad if Spot hadn't called him in the middle of his songwriting for an impromptu meeting with the developers for the Attack on Mango game. Apparently, their higher ups want a TON of DLC for the game, and they want Attack on Mango to basically record an entire album in a fraction of the time it took for them to get the base game soundtrack done. Quite tired, and a little thirsty, Nar enters his kitchen to grab himself a nice caffeine free diet soda from his fridge. He pulls a can out of the fridge, and cracks it open to take a sip. After drinking half the can right there, he stops himself, and closes the fridge door. "Solaris fuck!" Nar's scream echoes throughout his house. He drops the can of soda, causing it to spill onto the floor. Fight or flight takes over, and Nar rushes to grab the nearest weapon he can find. Brandishing a chef's knife, Nar turns towards the large window of his kitchen. Stood on the other side, is Aki. Her hands pressed against the glass, as if she intends to push it down, and get inside. She's staring directly into his eyes. Her expression a tangle of crazed obsession, anger, and hurt. Nar's breath is rapid, and shallow. He waits to see what she'll do. Then, he feels something small claw at his leg. A voice in the back of his head tells him to calm down. Think about this. Aki's in a psychiatric facility. She has been for months, and she doesn't have the means to bust herself out. A few barks from his service dog, Rudo bring Nar's thoughts back to the present. "Rudo." He rasps, voice shaky. "Greet." The little Jack Russell looks to the window, then back at Nar before sitting down to stare up at him. Fucking hell. It's a hallucination. Just a hallucination. Taking a deep, long breath, Nar manages to calm himself enough to finally look away. All that band work must have tired him out more than he thought. Thank goodness Cookie is with her grandparents tonight. He'd hate for her to hear him swearing like that. Right. Time to clean up his mess, then grab some water, and go relax somewhere else. Maybe ask the band about playing some Deep Rock Galactic, or see if Autumn wants to watch a movie. #rp
