With Nar's job being freelance, his hours are all... View More2017, Vanhoover. After a long week at work, Juno is happy for it to finally be the weekend. This Saturday, he's found himself alone in the apartment. With Nar's job being freelance, his hours are all over the place. Looks like he's picked up some extra deliveries this weekend for some extra spending money. Leaving Juno some peace and quiet to play video games. As the morning turns into afternoon, the temperature in the apartment begins to rise. The apartment may have heat, but it has no air conditioning. Though it's only spring, the heat builds in the one room apartment like an oven. They're gonna have to look into getting a portable AC unit for the summer. Juno wipes sweat from his brow, and pauses his game to go grab some seltzer from the fridge. As he rises, he hears the sound of the lock on the door being turned. He turns his head towards the door preemptively in order to greet Nar. When the door opens, Juno stops mid step, his mouth hanging open. "Sup." Greets Nar, oblivious to the reason why Juno is staring at him. "Hey man. Whatcha got there?" Juno asks, finally able to put words to his thoughts. At this, Nar holds up the cup in his right hand. "A milkshake." Juno blinks once. "No, the other thing." Nar looks to his left hand, as if he'd somehow forgotten the baby dragon he was holding. "Oh! This is Fred!" He looks to the little dragon with a goofy smile on his lips. "Say hi Fred!" The dragon burps a small gout of flame in greeting. "And where did you get him?" Nar shrugs his shoulders. "One of the ladies I made a delivery for gave me him. Said he needed a good home." "And you think this is a good home?" Juno can see the gears turning in Nar's head. He's starting to get it, but he needs a little push. "We can barely afford to feed ourselves. You know what dragons eat, right?" "Yeah! But the lady said Fred will eat anything!" "So what's your plan when we're both out of the apartment then?" "I'm just gonna leave him here." Juno closes his eyes for a long moment, then opens them again. Nar. You're NOT that stupid. Why do I have to spell this out for you? "So, you're going to leave the dragon that will eat anything alone in our apartment while we're away." Nar nods. "And what's going to happen if he gets hungry while we're away?" Nar's eyes widen. "Oh... He'll eat our stuff." Fred lets out another little burp, unable to understand the conversation going on in front of him. Nar looks down to little Fred with a massive frown across his face. He grabs his milkshake with his magic in order to free his other hand so he can tickle the dragon's belly. "I'm sorry Fred, but we can't keep you. We gotta find you a better home." Juno watches as Nar exits the apartment with Fred. An hour later, Nar returns, looking quite upset, and Fredless. Looks like Juno's gonna have to cheer him up. #rp
