Weevil is delighted when he begins to discover random plates with food that he can munch on during his adventures. He never once questions the logic of having entire plates of good food just laying around at random spots throughout the building. It becomes some sort of a treasure hunt.

"I was sick for years due to my mother being an earth pony and magic was poisoning me until, I figure out how to cure myself.
