View More"Can't believe Royal Records sent a private jet to pick us up." A whistle goes out from Juno as the 4 members of Attack on Mango, and their agent board a branded, private jet sitting in Vanhoover airport. As they begin settling in, and loading their luggage, their agent, Spot gives them a quick brief. "Yeah. The guys at Royal Records don't like to be kept waiting. I'm surprised they waited as long as they did for you guys to answer them. You guys are gonna be meeting with them tomorrow, at 10 AM. They've booked you a suite at The Gallarie, complete with dinner, breakfast, and lunch after the meeting. I suspect they'll extend further amenities if you accept their contract." From across the aisle, Nar shuffles in his seat to turn, and face the others. "I still think we can do this on our own. Selling out to a record label like this is exactly the kind of thing Roy would have done." Instantly, faces sour. "You're completely right." Responds Juno, before adding "But, with Royal Records, we're guaranteed a spot in the Equestrian Music Hall of Fame." Nar sneers as he responds with a quick "Right next to their other pet bands." Next to Juno, Ruby raises an eyebrow. "Looks like someone did his homework on Royal Records for this meeting." Nar gives a nod in response. "Hell yeah I did. I may be an idiot sometimes, but I'm not going into this without doing my research first. I'm not going to let these Canterlot big wigs take advantage of us." "Damn right." Asuka folds her arms, with a confident smirk. Juno gives a small nod as well, before he speaks again. "Like I said. Let's hear them out first. Then, if they give us a good offer, we should really consider it." Finally, Spot speaks up to offer a warning. "Don't forget. If you turn Royal Records down, you're gonna have a huge battle ahead of you. They're known for giving artists and bands who spurn them such a hard time that most of them quit the music game entirely." Juno, and Ruby appear to shrink in their seats. Asuka's confidence seems to waver. However, the warning only seems to strengthen Nar's resolve. "Fuck 'em! We got this far on our own, with your help! We can do this! No matter what they throw our way!" Nar's words rally his bandmates, and together, they all shout "Yeah!" in agreement. Spot beams a grin as he lifts a glass of whiskey to his lips. "That's the Attack on Mango I know!" He lets out a gravely chuckle, then relaxes into his seat as the jet begins to take off. #rp
