A lon... View More#rp (This is a lot more of the teleporter bit than I was going for, but it was fun to write. I also cant make the rp hashtag invisible. It is a rp post, I just dont like having a hashtag there.) A lonely disk of ice sits amidst trees of ice. It's edges covered in flowing lines of cyan magic and ancient arcane symbols one might find in magical textbooks, but only /understood/ by researchers. A pony sized circle runs along the outside of its upwards facing surface, glowing brighter than the magic on the edges. The disk has lain abandoned for a few years, but no longer. A sigh from Icy as she lifts one of her earlier experiments from the ground. "I guess it's time to forgive you, yeah?" A hoof wipes dust away as a flick of magic creates a console of ice next to the disk. Lines of magic already spreading. "So, before... I was so worried about safety that I didn't consider location. This time..." She takes a moment to think, the arcane wires and glyphs ceasing their spread across the console. "Predetermined locations are too limiting, that's a portal's job, not a teleporter. The presence of structures? I doubt any spell I could embed would detect less than a large tow..." She trails off. ! "The presence of life! I could infuse some of my own emotivoric abilities," the magic matrix resumes it's spread in a new way, previous areas changing dramatically, "Add a life leech as a tether, my usual mental interface..." She steps onto the pad, before just a magic disk but now- hopefully- a teleporter. Taking her wings off to let them autorepair any microscopic imperfections after yesterday's supersonic pre-powered flight test (Fun fact, it was a failure, the power source blew), she places a hoof on the console. "Teleporter pad test thirty-seven, begin. Take me away!" ------------------------------------ A flash of magic disrupts a nearby cloud before depositing a/the snowy mare. Who quickly realizes her mistake, though doesn't realize she's falling. "I forgot to set a destination! Blizzards!" And then the realization hits, and she panics without wings. Flailing, "NOT BLIZZARDS, THIS DESERVES A FUCK!" As she tries to force magic through her stress to at least cushion her landing. Either way, it's going to hurt if somecreature doesn't help. Perhaps whoever the teleporter locked to?
