View MoreIf there was one thing Nar has learned in the past week, it's that songwriting without a music degree is HARD. With potentially the future of his band on his back, he was really starting to feel the pressure. The band needed something to generate hype before they set off to take the top spot in the national music charts, and if his song flopped, they could kiss that dream goodbye. The stress was really starting to get to Nar, and he just needed some time to de-stress, think, and clear his head. Naturally, Nar's way of doing so is going for a skate around Vanhoover. No high speed, or fancy tricks today. Just a casual skate through the city streets so he can think clearly. Unfortunately for Nar, fate had other plans. While approaching a street corner, Nar notices a stallion sitting on a bench, partially slumped, with a hand on his chest. He slides up in front of the stallion, and gives him a small wave. "Hey, you okay man?" The stallion's head lulls to the side. That's when Nar notices his shallow, erratic breathing. "He-" the man gasps "He-." Nar can see his eyes struggling to stay open. He quickly goes over things his sister has taught him in his head. Chest pain, Difficulty breathing, fatigue. Shit, this guy might be going into cardiac arrest. Nar quickly removes his phone from his satchel, and dials emergency services. He opens by telling the operator the street he's on, and telling them he thinks someone is going into cardiac arrest. He asks how long an ambulance might take, and is told "15 minutes." This guy likely doesn't have fifteen minutes, and Nar could get to the nearest hospital in five if he skates as fast as he can. He tells the operator that he's taking the stallion to the hospital, but the operator urges him to begin CPR. After a short discussion, it's decided that Nar rushing the stallion to the hospital is the safer option. Nar loads the stallion onto his back, and secures him before he speeds off down the sidewalk. Ahead, Nar spots a large crowd filling the sidewalk. He won't be able to go around them. They need to move. Using what magic he knows, Nar projects his voice to be three times as loud. "Look out! Medical emergency!" His shout booms down the street, causing a few in the crowd to jump. Thankfully, they heed his words, and the crowd parts to allow him to pass through. Nar can feel the man go limp on his back as he races closer to the hospital. Faster! You need to go faster! If you don't this man's going to die! The motors in his skates whine as he barrels down the sidewalk, nearly take out a few pedestrians along the way. As the hospital comes into sight, Nar sprints the fastest he ever has, only slowing down on approach so he can enter the emergency room without smashing through the doors. Nar opens his mouth to shout, but a nurse is already approaching him before he can speak. In as calm a voice he can manage while out of breath, Nar informs the nurse of the situation. "I think this man is going into cardiac arrest." She calls for a stretcher, and a few seconds later, Nar offloads the stallion so he can be rushed into the ER. Afterwards, Nar buys a drink from one of the vending machines in the waiting room, and takes a seat to recuperate for a while. He's definitely telling Asuka about this when he gets home. #rp
