View MoreWith Ponyville drifting off to sleep, the employees of Yakushisoba are closing down the restaurant after another busy day. The front of house crew has already left after making sure the dining room is spotless, and all their stuff restocked. All that’s left is for the back of house crew to finish their cleaning tasks. Three of the four back of house employees are all that remain in the store this late at night. There’s Bo, the night shift manager, Nar, and a new hire, Arty. Their fourth member has college classes tomorrow morning, so Bo let him leave early to get proper sleep. Nar stands at the dish pit in the very back of the restaurant, finishing up the dishes for today while Bo goes over the finishing touches of cleaning the kitchen with Arty. Over the music he’s playing over his speaker, Nar can hear Bo speaking to Arty, but the poor guy seems confused. He can’t seem to understand anything Bo is saying due to his thick Creole accent. “He’s asking if you’ve cleaned the grease traps before!” Nar calls out from the dish pit. Arty replies with a shouted “Oh! No!” Nar hears Bo say something else, and figures he might as well play translator for poor Arty. “He said to grab the oil apron, and some gloves! He’s gonna show you how!” Once Nar’s finished with the dishes, he cleans the sinks, then heads into the kitchen to check on Bo, and Arty. It seems the two have just finished cleaning the grease traps. Bo says something that Arty doesn’t seem to understand, but it makes Nar laugh. “He’s saying you did a good job.” Arty seems to perk up at this, only to be confused again when Bo makes another comment. “Okay, now you’re just messing with us. I didn’t even get that one.” States Nar, with a grin. Bo lets out a low, rumbling chuckle, then claps Arty on the back. After an inspection from Bo, the three men exit the restaurant to head home for the night. Of course, Cookie is asleep by the time Nar gets home, so he’s pretty bummed about that. Oh well. Time to make a quick dinner, aaaand-… He’s fallen asleep on the couch. Must have been a very busy day! #rp
