Slowly, Nar rolls himself... View MoreWith a grunt, Nar slowly rouses from a deep slumber. His mind, and body feel hazy, and heavy. As though he's waking up from something like anesthesia, or some other sedative. Slowly, Nar rolls himself to his side so he can slide his legs off of the bed, and sit up. He wipes the sleep from his eyes, finding the sun shining brightly through his bedroom window. Crap. Must have slept in. Nar goes through his morning routine while the haze slowly clears from his mind. Snippets of the nightmare he had last night coming to him before fading away again. He still can't quite tell if it was a nightmare, or a hallucination. He'll have to tell his psychiatrist about it later. Exiting the master bedroom, Nar is greeted by the smell of breakfast coming from downstairs, and a female voice humming a song. Oddly, it doesn't sound like Autumn, or Cookie. Making his way downstairs, he fails to notice the pictures hung on the wall along the stairs. The haze still hasn't fully cleared from his mind. "Good morning." Nar states groggily, as he enters the kitchen. The sight inside the kitchen causes Nar to go silent with shock, and confusion. "Good morning sleepyhead!" Amy coos from her place at the oven. "Dada!" A small voice calls out from a high chair nearby. Looking to the source, Nar sees a colt, a toddler, sat in a high chair with arms outstretched towards him. He looks a little like Amy, with Nar's fur color. For some reason, Nar gingerly picks up the child, and carries him. The little colt wrapping his arms around his neck for a hug. This... This is my son. "Sleep well? You usually don't sleep in this late." Amy asks as she approaches to kiss Nar's cheek. All Nar can manage is a short "Yeah." Part of Nar's mind is sending alarm bells all over. He knows this isn't right. Something is wrong. Yet, he just can't bring himself to question it. It's not a hallucination. That hug, and kiss were real. This isn't right, but... For some reason, part of Nar feels like this is where he's supposed to be right now. He KNOWS that isn't the case. Where he belongs is with Autumn, and Cookie, but... He just can't bring himself to question it right now. His body seems to move on auto pilot. As if he's sat down at his dining room table for breakfast with Amy, and his son hundreds of times before. Never once does he express his shock, or confusion. He simply carries on as if this is how things are meant to be. #rp
