Well, fusion cuisine is a thi... View MoreIt's dinnertime at the Attack on Mango house, and everyone is nice, and settled at the dining room table. Tonight's meal? Udon noodles and miso soup with... Garlic bread? Well, fusion cuisine is a thing, and nobody is complaining. While everyone else eats their food with forks, Asuka, and Nar have decided to show off their multi-cultural upbringing by using chopsticks. Nar even tries to use it to pick up pieces of garlic bread. He's failed every time. Throughout the dinner, Asuka notices that her brother is a lot more fidgety than usual. Messing with the buttons on his shirt occasionally, swirling his noodles in his soup, flipping his garlic bread in his hands. She considers asking him what's wrong, but doesn't want to risk embarrassing him in front of the others. Instead, she decides to ask him about it in private after dinner. A ways through dinner, during a lull in conversation, Nar sets down his chopsticks, and takes a deep breath. Asuka turns to face him, but the others don't seem to notice. "Hey, guys?" That gets their attention. Now, all eyes are on Nar. He lets out a breath before speaking again. His voice full of uncertainty. "I-... I've been thinking about moving back to Ponyville." The table goes silent. Thankfully, not for long. Nar answers the question everyone is thinking before it's said. "Cookie's gonna be 5 in July, and she's gonna start Kindergarten this year! I want her to go to a school where she'll be living close to her friends! I want her to have the kind of childhood I had! One where she goes to her grandparents every few weekends! Where she can play, and explore in the fields around the town! I want her to grow up somewhere she'll know everyone." Nar's tone is passionate, but slightly shaky. This is not a decision he's made lightly. Suddenly, Juno practically falls onto him, arm draped over his shoulder. "Sounds like a great idea to me!" Asuka nods, then joins in with "Yeah. Our music career is over anyway. About time one of us settled down." Across from Asuka, Deena gives Nar a warm smile. "That's a wonderful sentiment, Nar. I wholeheartedly agree." With all the support, Nar's mood appears to lighten significantly. He lets out a relieved sigh. "Thanks guys. I was kind of afraid you guys would be mad at me for wanting to leave." Juno jostles his best friend a bit. "We could always just move back with you if you get lonely!" Juno is joking, but the idea seems to strike a chord with Asuka. "Actually? Why not? It's not like money's an issue, and I've kind of been missing Ponyville too." Then, Nar chuckles, and adds "Plus, Spins lives there, so she won't have to nearly freeze to death when she wants to visit." Everyone at the table lets out a laugh. After dinner, plans are laid out. Nar, Cookie, Asuka, and Juno will be moving back to Ponyville. Deena wishes to stay in Vanhoover to run her flower shop, but she doesn't need a whole house to herself. They'll give the house to Mandy Fullbright's charity so they can use it to help those less fortunate, and buy Deena her own apartment near her store. Asuka plans to try to get her sister to move in with her, and Juno plans to find himself an apartment. Nar will buy his own house with Cookie. That night, everyone goes to bed excited for the changes to come. #rp
