(I remember /loving/ learning all the different conditionals and how I could use them back in coding class. Even when we were supposed to be using shorter ways, I /still/ used conditionals.

(Nein. I learned in Java/Javascript (I can't even remember which one, might have even been neither of them), /and/ I barely/don't even remember how to make a program output A with an input of 1. Or make it /take/ an input of 1 in the first place.)
(Indeed. Especially for people like me who won't just settle for doing what's /asked/, and instead trying to make the program give out the numbe of letters, locations, repeating letters, etc. Meanwhile, the /assignment/ was just to make it tell you how long the word is.)

don't use if else statements too much if you're making a game though
Definitely this. If else statements very quickly clutter things up.
Back in highschool when I had just barely got my Ti-84 I learned that one could make programs on them. I was fucking ecstatic.. I spent hours on end just testing out different commands to slowly teach myself ti-basic. I had tried l... View More
