The Canterlot Journal of Arcane Theory originated the School for Gifted Unicorns in Canterlot. The goal of this peer-reviewed journal is to explore the Arcane Arts through scientific inquiry, to create an archive for Arcane literature, and to form predictive models about the mechanism and extent of magical power. CJAT publishes original work of high scientific quality. It is internationally recognized, and the only journal of its kind.
